EUROWAVE - What's really going on during your treatment?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Some Commonly Asked Questions:

"Will I lose Weight?"

No, the treatment itself focuses on inch loss not weight, because it's your inches that stop you from wearing the clothes that you want. A person going to the gymwill sometimes actually weigh more than someone who doesn't work out even though they are smaller because they are toned.

"How much can I lose?"

There will be a measureable difference after your first session ... usually between 1 - 3" ... after 10 sessions we could expect to see 2" from your tummy, 2" from your waist and 1" from your rib cage!!!!

"How often should I do these treatments for best results?"

Twice a week is good but three times is perfect.

"How long will the results last?"

After just one treatment results should last for at least 6-8 days ... after a series of 10 treatments, with no change in lifestyle, results should last for up to 8 months!!

"Can I do more than one part of my body at a time?"

Yes, you can do up to 3 treatments in one day on three different body parts (i.e., front of thighs, bum lift and abdomen). You should have at least one day off in between days of treatment, though.

"What will I feel during the treatment?"

Once you are hooked up and the machine is turned on there will be a 2 minute warmup period where we are stimulating the superficial muscles, the muscles closest to the surface ... these are the muscles that you also work the most at the gym. Duringthis period we are also stimulating the lymphatic system which is the body's waste disposal system, which is always good as a bad lymphatic drainage system can lead to fluid retention and cellulite.

During the next 16 minutes we will be steadily increasing the intensity to a comfortable level where the DEEPER muscles will be worked for optimal toning and slimming. Eurowave is beneficial in that it doesn't "just" work the superficial muscles, but it also works the deep muscle tissue ... it's these muscles, especially in women, that cause so many of our problems. They stretch during pregnancy and childbirth, are cut during C Sections and Hysterectomies and stretch during normal weight gain.

"How does this work with my normal workouts at the gym?"

Eurowave can be used to enhance recovery from personal training. Increased bloodflow to the muscles helps deliver nutrients necessary for recovery and subsequent growth while the pumping action of the treatment (stimulation/relaxation) helps to remove waste products, mainly lactic acid, from these muscles.

EMS will enable muscles to relax quicker and more completely. This in itself alsoserves to increase blood flow to and from the muscles. Several athletes have reported muscle spasms following their workouts, especially in their calves and hamstrings.

EMS is a very effective means of relieving these spasms. Following very intense workouts, edema or fluid can occur. Such swelling inhibits recovery. The pumping action of EMS training can reduce edema and promote recoveryas discussed before.

"How about EMS for Back Pain?"

EMS has been show to block pain signals referred to your brain. By stimulating alternate sensory mechanisms, EMS can reduce pain and like soreness from workouts or injury sites as well as swelling (as mentioned above).
